Arizona Auto Repair

When we moved to Arizona I needed a mechanic. I went to the big shop dealers, found no honesty,too high priced. Then I went to a corner mechanic dealership,price not bad, work horrible. And a friend of mine has been here all his life John Mendez recommended surprise care. I have found them to be exactly what you would expect honest, fair priced, great mechanics, not pushy and Mike is very nice to work with. I would recommend if you want a good deal at a good price and it done right take it to surprise care.

This is a great place to have your car repaired or have regular maintenance. Mike is so honest and I am very impressed how he operates his business. I took my car there when my car had the check engine light on and said there wasn't anything wrong and didn't want to charge me to do additional testing. I have a 2004 Corolla with over 209,000 miles on it and he could have told me it would need a new transmission or engine but he didn't. He just suggested some other maintenance which I knew would need to be done and did 't overcharge me. I will be going to him from now on and hope my car makes in to 500,000 miles.

I was in a complete bind having to make it back home to pick my 2 year old daughter up from daycare and my car was leaking engine coolant! The tow truck dropped me off around 4:00 pm with the shop closing at 5. Mark the manager was of wonderful service helping me get situated right away. The team was very honest and efficient with my free diagnostic. Mark had me buttoned up and repaired in time for me to make it back to East Mesa to get my daughter. I would highly recommend calling or stopping in for any auto repairs you may need. Great atmosphere , competitive pricing and honest quality repair work.

Cannot say enough good things about the workmanship and efficiency of this group. We have recently experienced a couple of costly repairs on my car. Very quick turn around, great work and always follow up with us. Always treated fairly on the cost of the repair. Granddaughter lives in Flag and was quoted $1000 for a repair. Had her bring it down and this shop fixed it less than half that cost and we felt safe with her heading back up the hill that day. Thanks guys! We highly recommend this shop.

I brought my car in here to find out what was going on with my A/C. They had charged my system and nothing happened so they decided to look for hard codes the car may be throwing out and sure enough they pinpointed the problem down to a $30 sensor in my dash. They were honest, straightforward, and honesty the nicest and most respectful people I’ve came across in awhile. They treated me very well and I have recommended them to many friends and family. I can honestly say they went above and beyond and you don’t get that with many places anymore.

Just discovered Surprise Car Care, and glad I did. The guys there are professional, courteous, and just all-around great to work with. I brought my Daughters truck in on a Thursday afternoon, within a few hours they had diagnosed the problem, given me an estimate, and said they could have it ready by the next afternoon. Great! Everything went exactly as they'd said and the estimate and the bill matched nearly to the penny. I will be taking all my cars here in future!

Great mechanic experience! Not only did they diagnose and fix my problem at a fair price in a timely manner, they did a complete inspection and let me know what to keep an eye on for future maintenance. No high pressure up sell. Completely honest and even told me they would not spend the money on certain things at this time, they just wanted me to be aware. Lastly, they even test drove my vehicle after the repairs to ensure everything was correct. (I have been to dealerships that say they test drove but the mileage was the same as when I dropped it off.) Surprise Car Care doesn’t only care about your car, they care about their customers. I highly recommend them for all your car care!

Ok. I am not quite sure that I don't dislike this place. I paid a very large amount of money for my car to be fixed. I have been waiting for about 10 years to buy a car. I recently purchased a new to me car. I quickly realized it ran hot so Surprise Car Care came to me as a referral from my daughter and I already had to bring it back to them because get this... I drove it to my house from my work place.... It was so hot... I had to add a gallon of water to the reservoir. It seems to me like the mechanic didn't let the thermostat even open and I was sure charged for 50 dollars of coolant. The only thing I saw under my radiator was water. So yeah they warranty their work but you please tell me. They only did what I told them to do but they did it at the cost of me getting stranded again. The owners are brilliant and the mechanic is not.... That's all I can tell you but I promise to keep you posted as to how this ends.
