Arizona Auto Repair

So my husband takes our van here for an AC Tune up with a coupon for $19 for this service. He walks out with a $200 bill without even being told about any extra charges. Very dishonest and misleading advertisement. We have been to 3 other places the 10 years living here, including the car shop a mile away from Desert Car Care, and out of all those 3 places the most we have been charged was $80. The only reason we went to Desert Car Care was we wanted to try this new place out. We had a coupon and the reviews seemed great. Ya, worst experience ever. I understand the charge for freeon, I expected it, but we got this extra $95 charge and wasn't even told about it till the bill was ready to be paid. If we had known there was this hidden charge, my husband would have left and gone back to the other auto shop a mile away. He complained to a manager and he wouldn't do anything but give him a coupon for a free oil and wiper change. Well duh, do we really want to come back again!! We live right by you and will tell all our friends and family and neighbors about your dishonesty. Maybe the other locations are better an honest, but not this one.

At first over the phone everything seemed great! Mike was very professional and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. I brought my car in to have it diagnosed on why it wouldn't start and initially before I brought it in he had quoted me $88.00. I said that was great since everywhere else was charging around $100.00. So then I get a call 2 days later stating they still have not figured out the problem and diagnosis charge is now going to run $250.00! And that they are still not confident what the problem is! Would definitely not recommend them to anyone in the future.

Brought my vehicle in for 60K mile check up. When I dropped off the vehicle I asked what it would cost and was informed that it started at $85 and went up depending on the work that needed to be done. I asked them to call with the amount prior to starting the work. After 4 hours I still hadn't heard anything so I called back. I was put on with the mechanic who informed me that he had already changed the air filters and was balancing and rotating the tires. I asked the cost and was told $285. I told him I could get the work done cheaper at the dealership and his response was, "what do you want me to not do". I responded, "You were supposed to call me before starting any work". His response was "What do you want me to not do". I told him I don't want you to do anything I will be by to pick up my vehicle. I strongly recommend that you don't go to All Valley Car Care Phoenix unless you want to get ripped off.

Having a car care specialist you can trust is just as important as having a lawyer or a plumber in your family. I was experiencing a loud intermittent clicking noise in my dashboard related to the blend doors in my A/C. I did my research on local repair shops online and decided to visit Mike at Surprise Car Care based on their positive reviews. The reviews on line don't do his operation justice. Mike Holsinger, the owner, listens to your issues without judgement and offers excellent expert advice. He knew what my issue was almost immediately. We scheduled an appointment based on his initial estimate for the following week. When I showed up they were ready for me, attentive and actually concerned about fixing my problem. They completed the repair just as promised (they even applied a discount to the total bill) and at a surprisingly affordable price. There is no doubt that I will be returning to Mike's shop for my future car repairs. These guys understand the importance of top shelf customer service and are experts in their field.

After researching all the auto repair shops within my acceptable range, I saw good reviews for Surprise Car Care so gave them a try. Our van needed some urgent work due to a split hose. The Owner gave me a good idea over the phone on what the issue could be and a rough estimate. I also asked him to check the front suspension for any maintenance work due to the age and miles on the car. He was able to work us in the same morning. The work was done within a few hrs. He explained what was found and that the cost would be a bit lower than estimated. They checked out the front end and found no issues. I was impressed at the customer service, the work done and their integrity (since they could have easily made up some issue needing repaired on the front suspension, but did not). I purposely wait to write my reviews to ensure the repairs stay fixed. No more leaks, no noise from the pump, the car is running great. I have found my new mechanic! I'll be back. You should give them a try. David

Had a flat tire this morning. And was literally freaking out. I could see a huge screw in the side of my tire ): unfortunately they could not repair it however they removed my bad tire and put my spare on for free and then drove my car to my work for me. I work within walking distance and was able to leave my car there and they brought it to me. AWSOME SERVICE!!!! I was almost in tears when I got there as I just started a new job and did not want to be and they totally turned my day around! I will recommend these guys to everyone.

Fantastic service did exactly as they said they would, and even gave a follow up call. Mike is a great guy great to work with and most importantly the car is as good as new.

Bought a 20 year old car for my nephew. I took it to Surprise Care for some repairs it needed, he looked over my car and called with an estimate. Great service and car was fixed to my satisfaction. He even stayed a little after hours to give me time to go down and pick it up. Very nice, courteous and reasonably priced.
